Amidst the various corrective measures of the government to reduce the rate of unemployment in the nation, the CEO of Atlantis Group and an Entrepreneur,Chief Babajide Bewaji has lauded the effort of the National Youth Service Corps Management for Introducing the Skills Acquisition Entrepreneurship Development, SAED program in the scheme.
He made this assertion at his office,Atlantic Civic Centre while in an interview session with some Corps Members.
In his words,he said “That is one policy I need to commend the government and NYSC for, because a number of corps members are focused and have a lot of business ideas but what they face is financial muscle to put off through but with this scheme, it will definitely assist the number of people that are into this category”.
He admonished the Government to also support businesses because there is no help anywhere for the youths to sustain their businesses while reiterating that youths should not depend on white collar jobs in today’s economy.
” I am not saying that you should not take a job, take a job and have a plan, then exit to be independent” Bewaji advised.
