For the sequel, Steven Caple Jr. takes over for the film, which Sylvester Stallone has penned and returns to star in alongside Jordan and Tessa Thompson. Also back is Dolph Lundgren, reprising his role of Ivan Drago from the fourth film. Joining them is Florian Munteanu who plays Drago’s son.
Stallone has been the subject of death hoaxesin the past and this is just another one. This time someone shared the below image to fool users on social media.
The Facebook message then linked to a clickbait web site known for creating and sharing celebrity death hoaxes. This web site’s list of celebrity death hoaxes include ones for Vin Diesel, Nicolas Cage, Jaden Smith, Jim Carrey, Angelina Jolie and John Cena.
Trolls have made the disgusting claims about the elocky actor.
So here we are again, a rumour is once more sweeping the internet that Sylvester Stallone is dead. It comes 18 months after the first time.
The return of the hoax seems to have been initiated by the release of the new poster for his upcoming film Creed 2 yesterday.
Creed 2 is due out in US cinemas in November of this year and the actor / director shared an image of the promotional material to his Instagram yesterday:
Following the announcement, RIP messages began to circulate online and some people began claiming Stallone had died from prostate cancer. The rumours are believed to have began on Facebook.
