The Peer Education Trainers (PETs) group of Osun National Youth Service Corps, scheme has embarked on a street awareness campaign on HIV/AIDS and STDs at Oja-Oba,Oshogbo and its environs to build a society devoid of the spread of these syndromes

In an interview with the President of the CDS group -Miss Oyedokun Joy Oyetoke,she made it known to our correspondence that the motive of the group is to create awarness, telling people not to stigmatise HIV patients and also educate teenagers on the dangers attached to early sex,early pregnancy, teenage abortion and also help them know their gender roles as a male or female.

The group were out en masse to create awareness on the sexually transmitted diseases of HIV, AIDS,STDs. They enlightened the community on sex education, ways through which these diseases could be contacted and the need to curb it.

Also, the people were informed to come for free test at Oja Oba,Oshogbo local government

In the same vein,the Corps Members converged at the local government and conducted Free tests for beneficiaries at the local government.
