In a bid to safeguard the lives of people of Osun state, a corps member, Ruth Agbolade(OS/17A/3235) has donated Emergency drugs and consumables to the needy in State Hospital Asubiaro, Osogbo.
The donations were made through assistance from a nongovernmental organization, Springtime Development Foundation Ede, Osun state, which was created with the objective of rendering help to the less privilege.
While commissioning the project at Trauma centre, Oshogbo,Ruth acknowledged the present Chief Consultant, state hospital, Dr. Ola Ibigbami, who revealed the hospital needs, just as she showed appreciation to the nongovernmental organisation and NYSC scheme for the actualisation of her dreams.
Thanking the corps member on behalf of the state government, the chief consultant of the hospital said Ruth’s effort would go a long way in saving lives of patients.
Also Commending the efforts made by Ruth, the chief executive officer of the foundation Dr Deji Adeleke, who was represented by a member of staff, Mr. Enoch Omijeh, said Ruth has created an impact by donating to a segment of the health sector in the state.
Dignatries present were Mrs Hassan Mulikat the Physiotherapist representing HOD of physiotherapy department, Mrs Babalola A.A Chief DDNS; Matron Abe C.B- ADNS the Asst Director Nursing Services, Mrs Bdamus O.A- store personnel, Mr Idowu Fatai Adebayo-Store officer, Scientist OgunbodeO.S- representing the HOD laboratory services, Mrs Adeleke F.A-representing HOD medical laboratory,Mrs Kolade representing Biomedical deparment , Mrs Aremu / Mr Adewale Teslim both representing the hospital Secretary.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was represented by Mr FatogunO.J who represented the HOD CDS, Mrs Salawu Taiwo; Miss Aderibegbe Adeyinka, Mr Aderogba Adeolu the assistant LGIs represented the LGI Oshogbo Pharm. Sunkanmi Akinbolade.
