BOI partners NYSC To Support Corps Entrepreneurs With Funds

, BOI, in collaboration with National Youth Service Corps have kicked off the third edition of graduate entrepreneurship fund training for youth corps members.

The opening Ceremony of the 4-day program, which was birth out of Graduate Funds provided for youth corps members by the Bank Of Industry, took place at the Permanent Orientation camp, Ede, in the State of Osun.

The State Coordinator NYSC State of Osun, Mr. Danjuma Attah, who was represented by Director, Skills And Empowerment Development, Osun, Mrs Olutayo Samuel, in his welcome address, said the training program comes up in 7 states NYSC camps, which are Delta, Abia, F.C.T, Katsina, , Osun and Plateau.

The State Coordinator commended the BOI for the initiative, saying it has in recent times motivated the entrepreneurial spirit in the hearts of Nigerian Youths, just as he congratulated corps members at the event, adding that they should count themselves lucky to be shortlisted amidst numerous applicants, and implored them to make good use of the initiative.

The Opening ceremony was also graced by Director-General NYSC, major-general Suleiman Kazaure, who was represented by a NYSC official, Mr C.A Ojo, The Managing Director, Bank of Industry, Kayode Pitan, represented by The State Manager, Bank of Industry, State of Osun, Dr. E. Ojowuro, and corps members from Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Kwara State.
